These workshops are only available to anyone who has done their Intermediate or Advanced Scentwork Courses with us.

Do you want to keep honing your Scentwork skill? Do you want to continue working up the UK Scent Sport Levels? Then come join in our workshops!

Each workshop will be themed around one of the four League 1 components:

• Kong Search

• Catnip Retrieve

• Scent Match

• Trail ID

You will get three searches within a workshop:

• Warm Up Exercise

• Practice or Asssesment of a UKSS Level (Novice, Intermediate, etc)

• Skills Search

For those of you who aren’t working towards the Assessments you are still more than welcome to attend as you can complete all exercises ‘for fun’ - and the Skills Search will push you to learn incredibly exciting things! Skills could include: Vehicles, Area Searches, High Finds, Invisible Finds, Decoy Odours, Casting, etc. Workshops will take place at varying locations to truly test your searching ability in the classroom and beyond.

For Kong, Retrieve and Match each workshop will last a total of 2 hours with 4 dogs.
For Trail ID each workshop will last 3 hours with 6 dogs (this is to ensure we have the right number of people to decoy).

All dogs will work one at a time* so must be relaxed and settled in the car during their breaks (you may stay with them, or choose to watch the other dogs). The cars will never be left unattended.

*Except for the warm-up were dogs may work in pairs or trios, however we can easily adapt for reactive and nervous dogs to do the warm-up individually.
